La calidad y excepcionalidad el fútbol español no conoce fronteras y, a partir de ahora, se extenderá por el país más poblado del mundo, China, tras el acuerdo alcanzado entre la RFEF para formar y extender este deporte en el país asiático durante los próximos 10 años.
El presidente de la RFEF, Luis Rubiales, ha formalizado la firma de este compromiso, en una conexión telemática con el consorcio de empresas chinas, una acción que supondrá la creación de una Ciudad del Fútbol en Pekín, cuatro satélites más en otras ciudades chinas y el inicio del trabajo de formación en las instalaciones que existen actualmente en Tianjin, donde desde la Federación española se comenzará a impartir conocimiento en esta materia.
El principal fin de esta iniciativa de gran envergadura es exportar el talento español al gigante asiático, algo que, sin duda, generará beneficios en todos los ámbitos para el fútbol nacional, a través de la formación específica de jugadores desde la base hasta nivel profesional, entrenadores y resto de cuerpos técnicos, además de actores que intervienen en el mundo del fútbol. Todo ello, aplicando la metodología y los conocimientos españoles. Esto supondrá generar cientos de empleos para entrenadores, fisioterapeutas, técnicos y demás profesionales del ámbito del fútbol en España, gracias a la demanda que se producirá en China para este tipo de formación.
El acuerdo ha sido firmado entre la RFEF, la compañía CICFHS, y Beijing Institute of Architectural Design (BIAD). La primera de ellas es una compañía enfocada al deporte y especializada en la investigación, desarrollo, promoción y comercialización de los principales contenidos de Propiedad Intelectual del deporte, así como instalaciones e infraestructura para el mercado china. BIAD es el Beijing Institute of Architectural Design, consultoría arquitectónica estatal del Gobierno de Pekín, líder en planificación y diseño arquitectónico.
Estos actores, con el asesoramiento de la RFEF, levantarán una Ciudad del Fútbol en Pekín, que será apoyada por otras 4 en ciudades de gran envergadura en China, cuya ubicación se está actualmente cerrando. Estas nuevas instalaciones se ubicarán en la conocida como como Nueva Pekín, donde habrá también centros de ocio, residenciales, de negocios, restauración y deporte. Se trata de un área impulsada por el Gobierno de Pekín, donde se ubicará el centro político y ministerial y que busca atraer a ciudadanos chinos para desmasificar el centro de la capital de este país.
El inicio de esta obra en Pekín cuenta ya con todas las licencias y durante el tiempo que duren estas obras, la Federación podrá iniciar su labor de asesoramiento y formación en unas instalaciones que el Gobierno cederá en Tianjin, una ciudad al sur de Pekín. Este área deportiva, con un valor de 150 millones de euros, es reconocida internacionalmente por FIFA y será explotada por la RFEF.
Spanish FA signs ten-year assessment and training agreement to support China’s footballing development

- A replica of the RFEF’s Ciudad del Fútbol (Football City) in Las Rozas will be built in Beijing, with four further satellite sites set to be built in different Chinese cities.

The sheer quality and uniqueness of Spanish football knows no borders and, from this point forth, will take hold in the world’s most-populated country, China. This comes after a ten-year agreement was signed by the RFEF to develop and spread the reach of the game in the Asian nation.
This morning the RFEF President, Luis Rubiales, formally signed the agreement via a telematic connection with a consortium of Chinese companies, in a move that will lead to the creation of a Ciudad del Fútbol in Beijing, four further satellite centres in other Chinese cities, and the commencement of football-development work at the currently available facilities in Tianjin – from where the Spanish FA can begin sharing its knowledge of the game.
The main goal of this wide-reaching initiative is to export Spanish talent to the Asian powerhouse, something which will, without a doubt, have beneficial effects across every area of our domestic game. The project will include specialised development of players, from youth all the way through to professional level, training of coaches and coaching staff, as well as working with others involved in the world of football. All of which will be put in place by applying Spanish knowledge and methodologies. This is expected to create work for hundreds of Spanish coaches, physios, technical staff and other football professionals, thanks to the demand that exists in China for this kind of training.
The agreement was signed between the RFEF, the company CICFHS and the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design (BIAD). CICFHS is a company focused on sport and which specialises in the investigation, development, promotion and commercialisation of the main content areas of intellectual property in sport, as well as in facilities and infrastructure for the Chinese market. BIAD are the state architectural consultants of the Beijing Government, leaders in architectural planning and design.
These protagonists, with the support of the RFEF, will build a Ciudad del Fútbol in Beijing, which will be supported by another four centres in other large Chinese cities, whose locations are currently being confirmed. The new Ciudad del Fútbol complex will be located in the area known as New Beijing, where there will also be leisure facilities, residential areas and centres for business, catering and sport. This is an area whose growth is being driven by the Beijing Government, where the political and ministerial centre will be situated and which aims to attract ever more Chinese citizens in a bid to reduce overcrowding in the country’s capital.
All the necessary licenses are in place to start work on this structure in Beijing and, during the construction period, the Spanish FA will be able to begin its assessment and training work at government-provided facilities in Tianjin, a city to the south of Beijing. This sporting complex, valued at 150m Euros, has been internationally accredited by FIFA and will be put to use by the RFEF.
The Consortium and the RFEF are joining hands with the regional government of Jianghai, Tianjin to proliferate its existing National Comprehensive Sports Training Base into the International Football Technique Destination – Spanish Center, featuring sport-technique development, talent and personnel training, and international relationship exchange. The Tianjin Regional Center will be the first and leading model for a series of future locations, with a project headquarters planned in Beijing.
